Pandas on a Slide

Panda Bears are seriously endangered. They are indigenous to a small part of China, and their natural habitat has been largely lost to the explosive growth in China's human population.  But the Chinese government does seem to recognize the unique natural treasure they have in the Panda. They have a well funded program to breed Pandas in captivity. They are also making an effort  to preserve some of the Pandas natural habitat from further human encroachment.  By encouraging the Chinese people to see the Panda as a national treasure, the government is also bringing more attention to protecting that nation's remaining undeveloped places.  Definitely a step in the right direction.

Pandas are very charismatic, especially when they are babies and playfully exploring their surroundings.

This brief  'You Tube' clip features four or five baby Pandas playing together on a slide.  Fun!
